The 2024 Ron Palmer Summer Basketball & Academic Camp will take place at Browning High School (2180 Obispo Ave., 90804) and will run from August 5th through August 8th (Monday – Thursday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. See the daily activities below:
Thank you to all the students who have registered so far. Spaces are filling up fast!
We have been getting some questions, so here is a brief overview of the camp day:
7:45 Students arrive. Parent/Guardian initials the log sheet and receives important information.
8:00 – 12:00 Students attend one math and one entrepreneurial workshop and financial literacy session. They also have a snack break.
12:00 – 1:00 Students have lunch.
1:00 – 5:00 Students have a basketball workout where they learn and master the fundamentals of basketball.
5:00 – 5:15 Students depart. Parent/Guardian will initial the log sheet and receive important information.
*5:30 – 6:30 THURSDAY August 8th only: Awards distribution and skills demonstration.
Staff are on campus to facilitate the program and ensure a safe, fun camp experience for all students.
*Please note that Thursday, August 8th is an extended day.
